Here're some background informations about this site, it's online since 09.10.2005 and has since that date steady increasing traffic. Here and there are some fixes and additions to the site and of course setting up the new ordered stars. I was inspirated by the well known milliondollarhomepage, when i got the idea for this site. I liked the concept and thinked what could and should i change.. And here it is our virtual starlite sky! It hasen't much similar with the original selling pixel sites, it offers new opportunities. For example, i think about the people naming a star at one of these companys and then get a certificate... If these people for example like to do this as a gift for her wife, they say: "Darling, look above, somewhere there, just don't know exactly, is your star!" - Here they can say: "Darling, look, thats your star!" whether it's cloudily or clear, your star will be shining here, at www.10000stars, all over the world... Of course also companys can buy a star for promotion, there're many possibilities, perhaps somebody likes to buy zodiac signs... I think it's important that the page isn't overloaded with comercials when it's loaded, you just see the starlite sky and only if you point at a star a image appears.. Also different is that the income isn't for one person to be rich, there're 30% of the net income wich will be donated and the remaining 70% are for the company keeping the jobs and creating new jobs in a structure weak region in the eastern part of germany.
